A very important issue in many companies is the comfortable, web-based presentation of company-specific data. Just as we are talking about intranet solutions this requirement has high priority. On one hand, information from SAP R/3 easily has to be integrated in your own website. On the other hand, contents of the intranet must be usable in the existing SAP portal.

For these purposes, the hyper Content Management Server supports the SAP Enterprise Portal. The iView technology of SAP enables the integration of contents and functions of the hyper Content Management Server into the SAP portal via the standardised format XML.

The goal of the integration is to combine the two systems. Users can access the SAP-information directly without leaving the portal. Additionally, it is possible to view contents of the content management system.
